We face obstacles everyday, it's how we react to those obstacles
that will make us an overcomer.
Jessica Nichols (Jesse) knows all about overcoming obstacles. In 2010, she was injured playing basketball at the age of 14. After two lateral menisectomies in the upstate she was referred to Rush Orthopedics in Chicago, IL. In January 2012 it was determined that due to extensive damage, an Osteochondral Allograft Transplantation would be required. (using a donor)
After 12 months of insurance appeals process, their case was denied. This leaves Jesse with knee and ankle swelling, and hip pain.
With gracious discounts offered by the doctor and hospital, they still need to raise over $45,000.00. This family needs your help, they are sponsoring a hot dog sale and Chinese/Silent Auction to help with the cost of the Transplantation.
